Born and raised in London, Jarren’s childhood might have been surrounded by cobblestone streets and afternoon tea, but his heart has always been deeply connected to the Philippines. “It’s always Bicol first because my mom is Bicolana and It’s always her. She’s priority. So we stay in Bicol for most of the time and then we go back to Manila and then we go to Calamba Laguna where my dad is from.”

Despite living abroad, Jarren’s household was a vibrant hub of Filipino culture—karaoke nights, adobo fried chicken, and the unmistakable aroma of Filipino spaghetti. “When my mom makes the Filipino spaghetti, I know it’s going to be a good day,” he said, chuckling.

Now settled in Manila, Jarren is determined to chase his dreams. Jarren’s charm doesn’t just lie in his talent, but in how effortlessly he bridges the cultures of London and the Philippines. When asked to choose between iconic symbols like the London Eye and Intramuros, his heart leaned toward the historic Filipino landmark. West End or Local Teleseryes?—with the latter winning him over as he fondly recalled growing up watching Kapamilya shows like “Kadenang Ginto.”

When asked about his preference between a London girl and a Dalagang Pilipina, Jarren chose the latter, praising the beauty and charm of Filipino women. Even with a global upbringing, Jarren remains rooted, showing that being a global Pinoy means embracing the best of both worlds. As he stays in the Philippines to pursue his dreams, Jaren’s story inspires many to celebrate their identity no matter where life takes them.

Jarren’s parents have been pillars of strength throughout his journey. “They wouldn’t do all of this if they didn’t believe in me,” he said, reflecting on their sacrifices and unwavering support.
