Recently gracing the set of BRGY, Kolette, lovingly tagged as the “Ma-cute-lit na Raketera” of “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” brought not only her charm but also her stories of resilience and joy. From humble beginnings in General Santos City to becoming a household name, her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and staying true to oneself.

Kolette’s path wasn’t without its challenges. Growing up with an adoptive family, she learned the values of hard work and selflessness early on. Taking on roles as a student assistant and night market worker during her school days, she recalls, “Ayaw ko naman po makadagdag po sa mga… alam mo ‘yun Ate Bianca,’yong mga gastusin. So parang, hindi naman po nila sinasabi na magtrabaho ka. So parang nagkusa na lang po ako. Parang way ko na lang din po para matulungan din sila,” she said.

Growing up in an adoptive family, she faced the inevitable challenges of being “different.” Whispers surrounded her, questions lingered, and teasing words tried to define her. But instead of succumbing to sadness, she chose to be a free spirit—cheerful, energetic, and full of life. “Parang ayoko pong ilabas ‘yun sa ibang tao na nakakakilala sa akin o nakakita sa akin na dapat tahimik ka, sad ka, kasi ganyan ang nangyayari sa buhay mo.”

Beyond her vibrant personality and dancing chops, Kolette is setting her sights on acting, idolizing the likes of Jodi Sta. Maria. When asked about her dream role, she eagerly responded, “Kontrabida.” Her passion for the craft shines as brightly as her unyielding determination to learn and grow.

Once held back by fear, she has transformed into someone who embraces opportunities with grace and confidence. From the countless guest appearances to the invitations that came her way, she conquered her doubts by staying true to herself and radiating positivity.

Her time inside Bahay ni Kuya proved to be a turning point, unlocking hidden talents she never thought she possessed. She discovered her flair for songwriting and, surprisingly, dancing—a skill she had never explored before. Despite initial doubts about her abilities, she quietly worked on her craft, turning what was once a “hidden talent” into a newfound passion.

Despite her rising fame, Kolette remains grounded. From her TikTok antics to her plans to pursue a degree in Marine Biology, she embodies the balance of chasing dreams while honoring her roots. “Gusto ko po talaga mag-aral ulit. Kahit po may work, gusto ko po talaga mag-aral,” she reveals.

Amid the buzz of creative energy inside Big Brother house, a special song was born— “Crazy.” Composed by Kolette during her time in the iconic house, the song tells a story woven from personal experience and the spark of determination.

The inspiration for “Crazy”? Her ex. Reflecting on their past while still inside Kuya’s house, Kolette turned her emotions into art. With the help of Kai, who guided her in crafting the melody and beat, and Rain, who contributed to refining the tune, “Crazy” transformed from an idea into a heartfelt piece of music. Now, outside the house, the song has taken on a life of its own, embraced by fans who use it as a soundtrack for their own stories.
