With a storied career spanning over 40 years and a reputation as one of the most dynamic performers in the OPM scene, Gary V — known to fans as Mr. Pure Energy — continues to deliver electrifying concerts. His Pure Energy: One Last Time shows in April and May 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena saw him performing some of his biggest hits before jampacked crowds. Due to overwhelming demand, Gary staged a memorable, two-night performance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in December 2024, titled Pure Energy: One More Time.  

Renowned for his energetic stage presence and emotionally-charged performances, Gary captivates audiences by doing what he does best. Whether you’ve been a longtime fan or are experiencing the Valenciano magic for the first time, his concerts Down Under promise to be more than just a show — they’re vibrant celebrations of music, passion, and the energy that has defined his career.

Gary V: Live In Australia and New Zealand started in Brisbane on March 14 at the Chandler Theatre, Sleeman Complex, presented by Vibe Productions. Then on March 16, Gary electrified the Wellington Opera House stage in New Zealand, courtesy of JNR8 Productions. The tour will then make a stop in Perth on March 21 for a performance at the Regal Theatre, presented by Strictly Epic Productions.

Melbourne fans can look forward to an engaging performance on March 28 at Enjoy Church, where Gary will be joined by his longtime musical director, Mon Faustino, and a full band. The tour culminates in Sydney on March 30, at The Concourse Concert Hall. The Pure Energy Down Under Tour is presented by E-Talent International and AngelLiz Group, in cooperation with Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management and GV Productions.

Gary’s 2024 milestone year has been marked by prestigious honors, reflecting his influence beyond the stage. In April 2024, he received the Gawad Yamang Isip Award for Performing Arts from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, in recognition for his contributions to performing arts and copyright advocacy. In July, People Asia Magazine presented Gary with the Legacy Award at the Men Who Matter event, where he not only performed but also spearheaded a fundraising initiative for victims of Super Typhoon Carina.  

In October 2024, Gary took home the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award at the PMPC Star Awards for Music. He later won Best Collaboration at the 37th Awit Awards in December, thanks to the impactful and infectious track he did with Gloc-9 called “Walang Pumapalakpak.” And in November 2024, he was named Esquire Magazine’s Icon Of The Year.
