Instagram/@uarmyhopeInstagram/@uarmyhopeMANILA — J-Hope is on a roll as his label announced Saturday that the BTS star is set to release a new single, just weeks after dropping his last one.

On its X account, BigHit Music dropped a teaser for the song “Mona Lisa,” scheduled to drop on March 21.

The song is a “hip-hop and R&B track that celebrates a captivating person by playfully comparing them to the iconic masterpiece Mona Lisa, which has charmed the world for centuries,” BigHit said in a notice on fan community app Weverse.

“Through this song, J-Hope conveys that true allure lies not in one’s external beauty but in the unique qualities that make the person special,” it added.

The company also described the single as “a heartfelt surprise gift from J-Hope to his fans in appreciation of their unwavering love and support.”

J-Hope debuted the song during his “Hope On The Stage” concert in New York, based on a clip posted Friday by Billboard on X.

“Mona Lisa” will arrive just two weeks after J-Hope put out the single “Sweet Dreams,” an R&B-pop track featuring the Grammy-winning singer Miguel.

J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Ho-seok, is currently on his “Hope on the Stage” tour, which includes a two-day stop in Manila in April.

Currently, only J-Hope and Jin are active in the entertainment scene after completing their mandatory military service, while their five bandmates are still fulfilling their conscription.
