Chivalry and good old-fashioned romance are far from dead — and Paulo Avelino is here to prove it! Paulo seamlessly fits the leading man mold and more in his new film “My Love Will Make You Disappear”, where he stars alongside romcom darling Kim Chiu as Sari.

While he starts off a bit rough around the edges due to his difficult past, Paulo’s Jolo makes up for it with these simple yet sweet gestures. If you were Sari, a woman who firmly believes she’s cursed to be single forever, which of these five love languages would perhaps change your mind?

Receiving gifts

It’s not enough nowadays to impress the person you’re courting. How you treat their family and friends could be a bonus! In Jolo's case, surprising Sari’s close colleagues with flowers of their own earns him more pogi points, if you ask us.

Acts of service

Pouring rain? No problem! Jolo brings out his handy umbrella, ready to shield Sari from the rain, even if it means getting wet himself. Who wouldn’t fold at this kind of princess treatment?

Words of affirmation

Actions speak louder than words, yes, but we can’t deny how validating genuine words of affirmation can be. When Jolo tells Sari that she deserves happiness, it’s like he’s reassuring us viewers, too, through the big screen!

Physical touch

It doesn’t always have to result in steamy moments. Physical touch as one of Jolo’s love languages also means lending a warm shoulder to a dejected friend, as well as patting them on the back to lift their spirits up.

Quality time

It doesn’t matter if it’s an extravagant trip abroad, or a romantic walk down the park with some street food. As long as you’re spending quality time with the person you love, every moment shared is priceless!

Trust us when we say that this is just the tip of the iceberg! Watch how else Jolo expresses his love in “My Love Will Make You Disappear”, now on its second week in cinemas.
