There's a new tandem in town! A first look into director Irene Villamor’s upcoming movie “Only We Know” dropped on Star Cinema’s social media pages on Monday, March 31.  

Bursting with star power, the teaser pairs up veteran actress Charo Santos-Concio with box-office star Dingdong Dantes in an intriguing "will they, won't they” narrative.

The teaser opens with Betty (Charo Santos-Concio) being accompanied at the supermarket by Dingdong’s character, who is yet to be named during the scene. Betty then runs into her friend Cora (Shamaine Buencamino), who pokes fun at Betty’s younger grocery buddy with a little wordplay: “Mahilig ka talaga sa baguette!”

The exchange is made more humorous by the cashier, who mistakenly regards Betty as the mother of Dingdong’s character while requesting for her senior citizen card. After he denies the claim, Betty begrudgingly whips out her I.D. regardless.

In an upbeat montage, Ms. Charo and Dingdong bask in each other’s presence as if they’re the only two people in the world.   

Their electric chemistry shines as they dance the night away at a party and share laughs while lying beside one another inside a tent. Dingdong even surprises Ms. Charo with an encore performance as he busts out his sweet moves outside Betty’s home.

Even a cat Betty looks after seemingly casts its suspicions regarding her unlabeled bond with the film’s suave leading man.  

As if to echo our curiosity, the teaser leaves us hanging with the ultimate burning question: “So, ano ba talaga ang totoo?”
