Beyond her beauty and having come from a family of veteran actors, Julia Barretto even on her own is an artist who is fully committed to her craft. She made her showbiz debut as a child actress, appearing in various Kapamilya series, and in her teens, she started take on more challenging roles in more drama series. Julia plays Kath, the campus crush who finds herself in a love triangle with the cousin duo of Vince (Joshua Garcia) and James (Ronnie Alonte). For her role in this film, Julia bagged the “Most Promising Actress of the Year” at the 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards.

‘Love You to the Stars and Back’

This story follows the socially awkward Mika (Julia Barretto) who crosses paths with Caloy (Joshua Garcia), a simple and good-humored boy diagnosed with cancer, on a road trip to find aliens. Julia earned her first FAMAS Best Actress nomination for her performance in the film.

‘Unexpectedly Yours’ 

Julia plays the role of Yanni, daughter of single mother Patty (played by the Megastar Sharon Cuneta). In this film, Yanni fights for her independence and longs to join her long-distance boyfriend Kurt (Jameson Blake) in London. 

‘I Love You, Hater’

 Washed-up actress Hazel (Julia Barretto) spontaneously books a trip to Japan after an argument with her parents (Yayo Aguila, Christian Vasquez). There she meets and falls in love with Louie (Gerald Anderson), an Overseas Filipino Worker. 

‘Block Z’
