Whether you love her as a romcom darling or as a scream queen, Kim Chiu’s diverse filmography proves she can do it all! As she steps into the shoes of the bubbly and relatable Sari in “My Love Will Make You Disappear”, we’re throwing it back to four film roles that helped make her mark as a movie star.

Prepare to be wowed by these Kim roles in our “Best of Kim Chiu” FULL MOVIE PLAYLIST, streaming exclusively on YouTube:

Kim as Alex in “I’ve Fallen for You”

The young Alex would do anything to ease her parents’ struggles, whether that’s applying to a state school or entering a cosplay competition to win a free phone. However, a boy (Gerald Anderson) bearing the same name as hers is always in the way of her goals. When the two Alexes see past their differences and team up for a cycling competition, their friendship develops into something more.

Kim as Mae in “Paano na Kaya”

Mae, a budding artist, has been best friends with the car mechanic, Bogs (Gerald Anderson), for as long as she can remember. Supporting him throughout the highs and lows of his relationship, Mae is in for a surprise when Bogs finally takes a liking towards her after his breakup. But when his ex, Anna (Melissa Ricks), comes back in the picture, Mae grapples with the anxiety of being unsure with whom Bogs’ heart truly belongs to.

Kim as Sandy in “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?”

An adaptation of the popular Ramon Bautista book of the same name, the romantic comedy film follows Sandy’s harsh breakup and her ensuing inquiry into why her love always ends in heartbreak. Sandy then strikes an unlikely partnership with her boss, Alex (Xian Lim), who helps her transform from an ugly duckling to someone who can conquer both the corporate and dating scene.

Kim as Mayen in “The Ghost Bride”

With their family’s debts piling up and her father being hospitalized, Mayen resorts to a Chinese matchmaker’s offer: for her to become a ghost bride. The heartbroken Mayen, who’s discovered her fiancé Clinton’s (Matteo Guidicelli) own arranged marriage, seals the deal. The promised all-expenses paid ceremony, with its corresponding dowry, then plagues Mayen with a series of deaths in her family.
