The reviews are pouring in: audiences can’t get enough of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino in “My Love Will Make You Disappear”! KimPau’s highly anticipated romcom premiered nationwide on Wednesday, March 26.

Helmed by film director Chad Vidanes, “My Love Will Make You Disappear” follows Kim as the government worker Sari, a woman who believes she’s been doomed by a love curse. Paulo, as the businessman Jolo, then crashes into her life, beaten down by his own troubled past.

The lead stars’ showbiz friends turned into diehard KimPau fans at the “My Love Will Make You Disappear” world premiere night on Tuesday, March 25. Here are some of the reactions of the celebrities who got first dibs at the movie:

The love from Kim’s “It’s Showtime!” family — namely Ryan Bang, Amy Perez, Teddy Corpuz, Lassy Marquez, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez — was in full swing!

Tyang Amy felt moved by the film’s romance, saying, “Parang gusto kong yakapin ‘yung asawa ko pag-uwi ko.”

High praises also came from Lassy, who shared this stellar review: “Sobrang good vibes. Nakakakilig, promise.” Lassy also declared, “Naging super fan ako ng KimPau!”

Meanwhile, Kim’s AngBeKi sisters Angelica Panganiban and Bela Padilla reeled from the movie’s impeccable humor. Bela admitted: “Ang sakit ng panga ko katatawa!”

Bela also took to her Instagram story on March 26 to express how proud she is of their dear friend Kim, as well as to applaud the talented creative team behind the “beautiful and light” movie.

The young stars of “Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” Kolette Madelo, Rain Celmar, Kai Montinola, and Jas Dudley-Scales also couldn’t keep their excitement at bay, with Jas exclaiming: “Ipaglaban ang love!”
