If you thought that it wasn't possible to become even more obsessed with “My Love Will Make You Disappear”, well, think again!  

After introducing us to the upbeat Sari and the grumpy Jolo in their movie’s first trailer on February 15, Star Cinema showed an even more emotional side to Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s characters in the film’s international trailer on March 9.

We’re first welcomed by a rainy montage of Sari’s failed attempts at love throughout the years. A downbeat Jolo also laments his run-ins with romance, yearning for one that won’t fade away this time around.

In the next scene, an elderly woman (Peewee O’Hara) of Tahanan Homes tries to convince Sari to give love a shot. While Sari stands firm in wanting to live life on her own, the lady thinks her grandson may change Sari’s mind, as images of Sari’s encounters with Jolo flash onscreen.  

As adorable as Sari and Jolo get with their simple romantic gestures, the question remains: given Sari’s curse about men she loves disappearing after she kisses them, all paired with Jolo’s mysteriously dark past, could these two form a love that’s powerful enough to rewrite destiny?   

As the ballad version of Maki’s “Dilaw” softly plays, a sorrowful Sari confides in Jolo about her deepest fears. As if to call back to the trailer’s opening, Jolo now holds Sari tightly as they both get rained on, assuring her that he’s more than willing to stay through it all.

“My Love Will Make You Disappear” is directed by Chad Vidanes, and written by scriptwriters Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio from a story by Prime Cruz. Also joining Kim and Paulo in the cast are Wilma Doesnt, Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo, Nico Antonio, Migs Almendras, Martin Escudero, Karina Bautista, and Jeremiah Lisbo.
