<div><em>[Editor’s note: This story, first published on Aug. 7, 2019 and updated today, is brought to you from our Star Cinema Archives.]    </em> </div><div><br/></div><div> </div><p>Alden Richards, who is celebrating his birthday on January 2, became even more beloved to fans and filmgoers for his portrayal as Ethan Del Rosario in &quot;Hello, Love, Goodbye” (2019) and “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films/2024/11/27/-hello-love-again-earns-rave-reviews-from-celebs-fans-for-lessons-worthy-cinema-experience-1948" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hello, Love, Again</a>” (2024).</p><p>But if you just can’t get enough of his natural charm, we have something just for you: Alden was challenged to re-enact some scenes from famous <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Star Cinema</a> movies helmed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana who also directed &quot;Hello, Love, Goodbye” and “Hello, Love, Again”.</p><div><br/></div><p>First up was portraying John Lloyd Cruz in &quot;My Amnesia Girl&quot;, and the way Alden said &quot;pwede&quot; while showing his dimples? He almost shed a tear while saying the iconic &quot;you chose to break my heart&quot; line from “One More Chance”, and to be honest, we almost cried watching him too!
