Michelle Dee's 'Reyna' hits over 1 million streams on Spotify

Photo: <em>Reyma Deveza, ABS-CBN News</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- &quot;Reyna,&quot; the song of actress-beauty queen Michelle Dee, has been streamed on Spotify for over 1 million times.</p><p>During a conference for the launch of the music video of &quot;Reyna (Pride Version),&quot; Dee expressed her happiness about her song&#x27;s milestone.</p><p>&quot;Grabe &#x27;yung pa-1 million ha. ... My gosh nakakataba po talaga ng puso. We together with Star Music and GMA, we came  together to create the song, our objective was really, really clear -- this is for every single queen, whether you are woman, man or anything in between. It&#x27;s for you to find your strength to be who you are,&quot; said Dee.</p><p>&quot;And this is just a product  of so many people being able to relate to that. Pero even before that I was a loud and proud ally of LGBT community. I really credit my mom na ganoon ako mag-isip. Bata pa lang ako she was so vocal about her love to the gay community, to the whole community. If you remember I&#x27;m the most bashed Miss Universe Philippines queen because they were trying to take that against me, my identity against me,&quot; Dee said.</p><p>&quot;When I came out grabe talaga &#x27;yung reception and how it really turned the table for me and my confidence and the kind of love I received from the community. And I know this is a big community that helped me do what I did in El Salvador and do what I did  after. And this is really for them and for what they&#x27;ve been able to do for me,&quot; said Dee who represented the Philippines at the 2023 Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador.  </p><p>Dee, who is also an actress, said she already sees herself into doing music, even before she joined beauty pageants.
