“Dream ko 'to ever since bata po ako. Noong nakikita ko K-pop— especially si Sandara Park, seeing how good she is and she is Korean, parang nag-wonder ako what if may ganun Filipino din. And seeing unti-unti na nangyayari,” he said in an interview during the Koreamilk event held in Quezon City.

“At first, negative naisip ko. Kasi hindi maliit na bagay. Malaki responsibility. Buong Pilipinas dinadala. Nakikita ka ng ibang tao from other countires, nakukuha attention. I want to show the best,” he said.

He hopes not only to showcase Filipino identity but also to leave a mark on the global stage as he brings with him the Pinoy spirit of humility and respect.

He proudly shared that he was able to inspire his fellow members to adopt a uniquely Filipino trait that reflects the warmth and character of his roots.
