Viral sensation Christopher Diwata, the man behind the “What hafen vella” trend, recently collaborated with P-pop kings SB19 for a performance of the latter’s song “Mapa.” 

In the video shared by Sony Music Philippines on Monday, March 26, the social media personality channeled a different version of himself through singing.

“What haffen vellaaaaaa-ta-ra-ta-ra, la-ta-ra-ta-ra,” Sony Music PH captioned its Instagram post.  

Christopher sang the song’s first verse. SB19 members Justin, Pablo, Josh, Ken, and Stell sang with him when he reached the song’s chorus.  

Surprised by Christopher’s ability to sing, they clapped for him after they sang the song.  

The viral sensation earned the praise of SB19 member Pablo as seen in the one-minute video.  

“Napahusay niyo po pala kumunta,” Paolo remarked.  

Netizens were quick to react to the unexpected collaboration  

“Ang seryoso... nanibago ako,” one netizen wrote.  

Another netizen commented: “Wow ang ganda ng boses ni sir, pwede na 6th member ng SB19.” 

Aside from the “Mapa” duet, Christopher also did a dance collaboration with SB19 members to their latest song “Dungka” which now has its own dance craze. 

“Dungka with Taylor laughter @Christopher Diwata,” SB19 captioned its TikTok post. 

Prior to this, Christopher also surprised Filipino indie folk-pop band Ben&Ben who delightedly shared their encounter on social media last May 17.

“Minsan lang kami i-surprise tapos ganito pa. Grabe hahahah salamat sa pakana @sonymusicphl!!! Sobrang random pero sobrang special,” Ben&Ben captioned its Instagram post.  

Christopher delivered his lines taken from Hollywood actor Taylor Lautner’s dialogue in the Twilight movie series.  

“Sobrang random. We can’t believe na mapapanood namin ‘to [nang] live,” Ben&Ben reacted.  

Christopher rose to fame due to his iconic impersonation of Taylor for the Kalokalike segment of It’s Showtime in 2013.  Clips of his performance resurfaced and went viral recently.
