MANILA — American boy band 98 Degrees is back in the Philippines for a two-night concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 30 and 31, 2025.

In a media conference held in Parañaque City, the group—composed of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre—shared their excitement about returning to the country nearly three decades after their last visit.

“We came to the airport and there was a mob of people waiting for us, and it was a moment of feeling like actual rock stars,” one of the members recalled.

According to Drew Lachey, they were amazed by how passionate Filipinos are about music and how deeply it is embedded in the local culture.

Jeff Timmons added that there are many talented Filipino artists they admire.

“Martin Nievera, an amazing legend… Regine Velasquez is incredible, and there are so many talented [artists]…” he said.

Timmons also revealed that the group has been in talks with P-pop sensation SB19 for a possible collaboration targeting the Filipino market.

98 Degrees is set to perform with Katrina Velarde and Janine Teñoso during their two-night concert.

The group fondly recalled past experiences in the Philippines, including spontaneous singing sessions in restaurants, which left them eager to perform for their Filipino fans once again.

They also shared some of their favorite local dishes. Nick Lachey mentioned that his wife is Filipina, and their go-to food is chicken adobo. The group also enjoys pansit and local beers.

Fans can also look forward to the release of their upcoming album, Full Circle, which will feature new songs along with refreshed versions of their classic hits.
