MANILA -- OPM pop rock band Lily, formerly known as Callalily, has released a new single titled "Kinakabahan."

The single is out now on all digital music platforms, while the official lyric visualizer has been uploaded on the band's official YouTube channel.

"We deliberately decided to try something new. We realized our comfort zone was rooted in heartbreak, and we aimed to diversify our live performances, adding a layer of 'kilig' for everyone to enjoy," the band's frontman, Joshua Bulot, said in a statement.

As for the story behind the single, Bulot said: "It wasn't anyone in the band's story. It was more like, during the pandemic, every household got hooked on K-dramas. We wanted to write about that feeling when you see your crush."

"[It's about] That moment when a strong guy gets all nervous and loses his cool around someone he likes," he added.

Lily, formerly known as Callalily, is behind the hit song "Magbalik."

Aside from Bulot, the band is composed of Lem Belaro on drums, Aaron Ricafrente on bass, Alden Acosta on lead guitar, Nathan Reyes on rhythm guitar, and Ezra Decinal on keyboard.

Last year, the group released the singles "Higa" and "Sinayang."
