Mark Lee, a member of K-pop megaband NCT, released Monday his highly anticipated first full-length album, "The Firstfruit," following months of delay to ensure the record's quality.

The Korean-Canadian artist said the album is "based on my life," according to a report by the Korea Herald.

The album features 13 tracks, with "1999" leading the package, a nod to the 25-year-old idol’s birth year.

The music video for "1999" portrays Mark as a time traveler journeying back to the titular year.

The album also includes "200," "Fraktsiya" (featuring rapper Lee Youngji), and "+82 Pressin'" (featuring fellow NCT member Haechan) — singles Mark had released prior to the album's drop.

The album was initially scheduled for release in February but was pushed back to April to "ensure better quality," according to a Korea JoongAng Daily report, citing a statement from label SM Entertainment.

Mark debuted in the K-pop scene in 2016 as one of the first five members of NCT, introduced through their single "The 7th Sense."

The group, which has since grown to include over 20 members, performs under various sub-units. Mark, in particular, is a part of the Seoul-based team NCT 127 and the youth concept-focused NCT Dream.

In 2020, Mark was also launched as a member of SuperM, a supergroup composed of members from SM Entertainment's various boy bands.
