Maroon 5 has announced that they have collaborated with Lisa of BLACKPINK for their new single.

The band unveiled that their new song "Priceless" will feature Lisa.

A behind-the-scenes clip of Maroon 5's lead singer Adam Levine and Lisa during their photoshoot was posted on the band's Instagram page during the announcement. It featured a snippet of the song. 

Fans online were quick to react to the news.

"I already love it ❤️," one fan commented.

"The collab I've always wanted❤️," another fan wrote.

In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in early April, Adam confirmed that the band will be releasing new music this year.

"The rumors are correct. There are details. I cannot divulge all the details. But the details are basically, roughly, there’s a single coming at the end of the month-ish. I’m really excited about it," he said.

The singer went on: "An album is coming over the summer. Non-specifically around the summertime. And then, even more non-specifically, there is a tour coming in the fall-ish."

Maroon 5 last release an album in 2021 called Jordi. 

Meanwhile, Lisa released her first debut solo album Alter Ego in February.

The 15-track album features the tracks "Born Again," ft. with Doja Cat and Raye, "Rockstar," "Elastigirl," "Thunder," "New Woman" featuring ROSALÍA, "FXCK UP THE WORLD" featuring Future, "Rapunzel" featuring Megan Thee Stallion, "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)," "When I’m With You" featuring Tyla, "BADGRRRL," "Lifestyle," "Chill," and "Dream."

In an interview with Capital FM earlier this year, the singer explained the concept behind the album.

"It is such a fun concept. I have five different egos. There's Roxi, Vixi, Sunni, Speedi, and Kiki, so it's a very different color of Lisa in this album. I was like trying so many different music and style while I was recording and stuff. I was like oh, I never done this kind of stuff before [but] it sounds great so why not put all the different kind of style into the album and call it Alter Ego."
