The release coincided with the release of SB19's latest EP Simula at Wakas.

SB19 shared that their new EP reflects both their artistic and personal growth, paying tribute to their beginnings while embracing the future.

"It’s our way of saying thank you and showing how much we’ve evolved. Simula at Wakas encapsulates everything we’ve been through: the struggles, the growth, the milestones. We hope it speaks not only to those who’ve been with us from the start but also welcomes new listeners into our world," SB19 said in a statement.

The group further explained: "It’s both a celebration of our journey so far and a declaration of what’s to come. We’re the same group as when we started. It's just that we’ve matured, evolved, and grown into artists who are more confident in our voice and purpose."

Aside from "Dungka," the other tracks from the album included "DAM," "Time," "8TonBall," "Quit," "Shooting for the Stars," and "DAM (Extended Version)."
