During the launching of the P-pop group 1621’s sophomore EP Sapulso, the name Jeremy G was repeatedly mentioned at the event.

The reason for this was that singer-songwriter Jeremy Glinoga was the mind behind songs “Stuck” and “Secret” that were featured in the newly released EP.

The rising P-pop group did not forget to acknowledge the contribution of Jeremy, who graced their EP launching on Friday, April 11, to their music career.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Jeremy expressed how happy he is now that the P-pop group has slowly been getting their own rhythm.

“To see both of them be appreciated, it just feels so gratifying as a songwriter, and it just makes me want to write more para sa kanila and para sa mga ibang artists din,” he expressed.

The singer-songwriter also provided the background for the two songs he wrote for 1621.

“Yung 'Stuck,' nagawa ko siya noong pandemic pa, sobrang tagal na,” he shared. “Akala ko magiging para sa akin ‘yung kanta pero ayun pala may ibang purpose ‘yung song, it’s para sa 1621.  And I’m so happy kasi sobrang bagay yung song sa kanila. Ayun sobrang happy din ako na nagustuhan din ng mga Guardians (1621 fans). Tas ‘yung 'Secret' ginawa ko talaga yun para sa kanila.”

As an experienced musician, Jeremy feels obligated to empower new  artists as he was once in that position.

“For me, it’s very important eh,” he stressed. “I don’t really see myself with a high stature. And in general talaga, if you have a high stature or position, or basta if people look highly on you or think highly of you, I still think you should be able to share talents and you should be able to help others kasi that’s how I experienced growing up sa industry na ‘to, na even the bigger artists, ‘yung mga icons natin, they are helping small artists like us.

“So, what’s my excuse 'di ba? So might as well help this younger generation artists help find their sound. And I’m so happy to be a part of that process every single time, whoever I’m working with,” he continued.

Drawing inspiration from icons like Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, he expressed: “Just to see niceness, openness, and warmness from people with that high stature and that much accomplishments sa mga career nila, it means so much and inspires me to do the same thing para sa younger generations.”

Jeremy rose to popularity after his successful stint on The Voice Teens in 2017, where he represented Sharon Cuneta's team in the finals.

He became an online host of the singing competition twice, one in 2019 during the fourth season of The Voice Kids and in 2024 during the second season of The Voice Teens.

Jeremy has been a part of the Sunday musical-variety show ASAP Natin 'To since 2017.
