Filipino ARMYs gave j-hope an electrifying welcome as he kicked off his two-night HOPE ON THE STAGE concert in Manila on April 12, 2025 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

With his radiant stage presence, the BTS member delivered a vibrant set with powerful performances and fun fan interactions. The evening opened with “What If…,” setting the tone for a dynamic experience. J-Hope then went on to perform several tracks from his 2022 debut studio album Jack In The Box, including the crowd favorites “Arson” and “MORE.”

The energy remained high as j-hope transitioned to tracks from his 2024 EP Hope On The Street Vol. 1. Likewise, fans passionately sang along to “Lock/Unlock,” “I Wonder,” and “Sweet Dreams,” among others.

The arena roared as j-hope surprised fans with a medley of BTS hits like “Airplane, Pt. 2,” “MIC Drop,” “Silver Spoon,” “Dis-ease,” and “Outro: Ego.” Meanwhile, his performance of “Daydream” captivated fans who, later on, danced along to “Chicken Noodle Soup.” His performance of “Hope World” added a colorful and euphoric touch to the night.

To close the concert, J-Hope performed “NEURON,” capping off the night with an inspiring message for his fans. The screen displayed the lyrics: "I'll tell you again. We'll never ever give up, forever. I'll say it again. We'll always be alive to move us."

Throughout the show, j-hope charmed the crowd with Tagalog phrases, playful interactions, and a contagious energy that fans matched from start to finish. At one point, he tried to mimic the audience chant of “Walang uuwi,” drawing laughter and cheers.

His Manila shows mark the first stop of the Asian leg of his HOPE ON THE STAGE tour. Speaking onstage, j-hope described the night as precious and praised Filipino ARMYs for their love and enthusiasm. Through his interpreter, he told fans, “Maraming salamat talaga. Sana nag-enjoy kayo ngayong gabi. Siyempre babalik ako.”

Organized by Live Nation Philippines, his second Manila show will be held on April 13, Sunday.

Following the Philippines, j-hope will perform in Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.

j-hope previously performed in Seoul, followed by a North American tour in Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles.

j-hope, whose real name is Jung Ho-Seok, is a member of the global sensation BTS alongside RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
