Jex de Castro has released a new single titled "Sayang"

Former "Tawag ng Tanghalan: All-Star Grand Resbak" finalist Jex de Castro takes a bold step in his musical journey with the release of his newest single, "Sayang," out now on all digital platforms.

The emotional track marks a milestone for De Castro—not just as a performer but also as a songwriter and now, an independent artist. 

"This is my first single that I wrote. And the first single as an independent artist," he shared.

A few days ahead of the release, De Castro took to Instagram to express his excitement. "It's finally happening!" he said. 

"This has been a long time coming, and I seriously can't wait for y'all to hear it," he added. 

Prior to "Sayang," De Castro has released multiple tracks including "Dahil Tanging Ikaw," "Akin Ka Na Lang," "Sa Piling Ko," and "Sa’yo Lang." 

His Spotify catalog currently includes five songs, featuring two covers from his time under Viva Records and two original tracks in collaboration with Reverb Worship, a known Christian music label.

With "Sayang," De Castro ushers in a new era—one that reflects his personal artistry and independent voice.
