Jennie was honored with the prestigious Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 event, celebrating her influence and impact on the global music scene.

In a heartfelt acceptance speech, Jennie expressed deep gratitude to her fans, her group, and the women in the industry who continue to inspire her.

"Words cannot express how thankful I am," she said in her speech as featured in Billboard's clip.

Jennie dedicated the award to women across the creative and entertainment fields, emphasizing the power of unity.

"This award is a tribute to every woman who dares to dream, and create, and shape the world with her vision," she said. "Women are a powerful force and when we come together, we can uplift each other with every step."

The BLACKPINK member also took time to thank those closest to her, acknowledging her fellow members in the group and their shared journey.

"I want to take a moment to thank my BLACKPINK girls. Without them, this journey would have never happened. If you're watching, I love you," she stated.

Jennie extended her appreciation to her team and label. "Thank you guys so much for supporting me and believing in me and I will continue to make music for you," she stated.

Jennie also thanked her fans. "I love you so much. This is for you guys," the singer remarked. 

She concluded her speech by giving a sweet shoutout to her mother. "To my mom, I love you mom," she said.

Following the awarding ceremony, Jennie also penned a message on her social media page.

"Thank you @billboard for honoring me with the Global Force award. I got too nervous on stage and couldn't finish everything I want to say," she stated.

The singer went on: "I want to thank all the amazing women I get to work with. You guys are the true inspiration to this world and to me. Thank you for walking this path with me. I love you. And to my fans all around the world. Wouldn't be here [without] you!"

The 2025 Billboard Women in Music event took place on March 29 (US time) at the YouTube Theater in California.
