Kai, a member of the popular K-pop boy band EXO, is set to make a comeback in April with his fourth extended play (EP) "Wait On Me."

The EP is scheduled to drop on April 21, based on an announcement posted late Sunday on EXO's X account.

The announcement came with a teaser photo featuring two versions of Kai—one with blonde hair and the other with black hair—sitting on the same bench.

"Wait On Me" marks Kai's first solo comeback in over two years, following his 2023 EP "Rover." It also marks his first music release after finishing his mandatory military service last February.

Kai is also set to embark on a solo concert tour, with a stop in Manila on July 27.

Apart from music, Kai also hosts the YouTube reality show "Jeongwaja," where he visits different universities and tries out a new academic program in each episode. He took over as host from BTOB's Changsub.

Born Kim Jong-in, Kai entered the K-pop industry in 2012 as a member of EXO, known for songs such as "Growl," "Ko Ko Bop" and "Love Shot."

He made his solo debut in 2020 with a self-titled EP and went on to release two more EPs: "Peaches" in 2021 and "Rover" in 2023.
