Rising K-pop girl group ILLIT is set to make a comeback in June with their third extended play (EP) "Bomb."

The upcoming package comes about eight months since the five-member band dropped their second EP "I'll Like You," which debuted at No. 93 on the Billboard 200, earning the group their second consecutive entry on the albums chart.

Belift Lab, the group's label, said "Bomb" explores the theme of relationships, according to a press release.

"Building upon the journey of self-discovery in their debut album 'Super Real Me,' and the awakening of affection in their sophomore mini album 'I'll Like You,' ILLIT now delves into developing a relationship with 'you,'" Belift said.

Composed of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee and Iroha, ILLIT was formed through the 2023 survival show "R U Next?". The quintet debuted in March 2024 with the EP "Super Real Me," fronted by the single "Magnetic."

"Magnetic," in particular, became the first-ever debut song by a K-pop act to enter the Billboard Hot 100 song charts, peaking at No. 91.
