K-pop superstar G-Dragon, who rose to fame as the leader of boy band BIGBANG, is set to return to the Philippines for his "Ubermensch" world tour.

The concert will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on May 17, Fanplusone, an official account for G-Dragon's activities, said in an X (formerly Twitter) post.

Further details about the local show were not immediately available, but promoter Applewood Philippines told fans in an X post that "more details [will be] coming soon."

Bulacan is only one of the stops for the "first phase" of the "Ubermensch" tour, which supports G-Dragon's latest album of the same title.

The tour will kick off with a two-day concert in South Korea in late March before going on its "first phase," which also includes shows in Japan, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

In 2017, G-Dragon went to the Philippines for his "Act III: M.O.T.T.E" tour, held at the Araneta Coliseum.

Born Kwon Ji-yong, G-Dragon debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG, one of K-pop's most successful boy bands known for hits such as "Fantastic Baby" and "Bang Bang Bang."
