The last of BLACKPINK to release an album will hold her solo fan meet at Araneta XColiseum this March 14. Presented by Collective Touring Philippines.

BACKGROUNDER. Jisoo—member of the South Korean mega girl group BLACKPINK and an actress actively expanding her career globally—is set to meet fans worldwide through her first solo Asia fan tour, 2025 JISOO ASIA TOUR: LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION! IN Manila.

Kicked off with a fan meeting showcase in Seoul on February 14, 2025, the tour will span seven major Asian cities, beginning with Manila tonight March 14, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, followed by other Asian cities like Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.

A Cinematic Musical Experience with Amortage

Ahead of her fan tour, Jisoo officially released her first EP album, Amortage last Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025.

REVIEW. The album’s title—a play of words combining the words "Amor" (love) and "Montage"—signifies an assemblage of feelings and instants that together build a cinematic love tapestry of song. Each track reaches into different surfaces of love, depicting its volatile emotions and innermost journeys.

The EP runs a narrative concept depicting a relationship moving through the highs and lows of one, from the time love strikes like an “earthquake” to the fantasy being played out ("Your Love"), steady disentanglement when the fantasy fades (“TEARS") down to acceptance (“Hugs & Kisses”).

There has constantly been an inexplicable quality to Jisoo, a sense that she keeps something to herself. On Amortage, she makes a bold step forward on her own terms, but never too close, espousing pop music’s eternal indulgences – melody, passion and a whiff of disruption – with silent poise and self-confidence. It’s not an innovative album reinvention, nor does it need to be. Amortage keeps to Jisoo’s strong points, proving that growth doesn’t always have to be volatile to move the needle. RATING: 4 of 5.
