"Hot" consists of five tracks, each one capturing "a blazing attitude where we dive in head first, burn with passion for love, face challenges, and never hesitate to go all in for what we love," Yunjin, one of the group's five members, said through an interpreter at an online media showcase.

The EP is led by the single of the same title, a pop song infused with elements of rock and disco.

"The song 'Hot' conveys the message that we will give everything to what we love no matter the consequences," Sakura said. "This is our first lead single to put love at its core theme."

Her bandmate, Kazuha, added: "While [the song is] very melodic and lyrical, we wanted to make sure that it doesn't bring the listeners down or be too bubbly... so it was a challenge to strike that sweet spot."

Upon hearing the song for the first time, Kazuha shared, "I could just imagine someone driving with the cool breeze in their face."

Eunchae echoed this sentiment, revealing that the group thought about uncertainties while preparing for the album but remained committed to their passion for music.

Concert tour
Apart from the comeback, Le Sserafim is also preparing for their "Easy Crazy Hot" world tour, which will begin in April and includes a stop in Manila in August. The quintet previously visited the Philippines for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards in Bulacan.
