Singer-actress Bae Suzy will perform the Korean version of the theme song for Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of "Snow White," the Walt Disney Company in Korea announced Monday.

On its YouTube channel, Disney Korea dropped a 44-second teaser for the video of the song "Waiting On A Wish."

The video revealed Suzy, a former member of the K-pop group Miss A, as the singer, featuring her in a red cape against a snowy backdrop. Another shot shows her dressed in white, standing in what appears to be an enchanted forest while singing a snippet of the song.

Disney Korea has yet to disclose when it would drop the song's full version. 

A live-action remake of the classic 1937 animated film, "Snow White" follows the titular character as she seeks to free her kingdom from a cruel queen.

The film, set to be shown in cinemas on March 21, stars Rachel Zegler in the titular role while Gal Gadot plays the queen.

In February, Suzy made a comeback with the single "Come Back."

Apart from her music career, the 30-year-old artist is also known for her lead roles in K-dramas such as "Dream High," "While You Were Sleeping," "Start-Up" and "Anna," among others.
