MANILA -- A week after announcing the kickoff of their world tour at the Philippine Arena, P-pop supergroup SB19 released its highly anticipated new single “DAM,” on Friday, February 28. 

"DAM," which comes out with standard version and extended version, is part of the group's much-anticipated extended play (EP) "Simula At Wakas," which is set to be released on April 25.

SB19 also unveiled the music video of "DAM"on its official YouTube channel. The video, set in a dark, medieval fantasy world inspired by the brutal and tragic tales of knights, sorcerers, ravens, and looming castles, marks the latest collaboration between SB19 and 1032 LAB, a creative team known for bringing complex, fantastical worlds to life. 

"Sobrang excited ako for the people na makikinig at saka makaka-experience kung ano ang inihanda natin," SB19 leaderPablo said in a Facebook live session before the premiere of the music video.

"Exciting times for me kasi this is also the first time that we did something like this. So medyo kinakabahan ako. Nakita naman nila doon pa lang sa teaser natin, sa trailer ay iba ang atake natin dito, very passionate and talaga gusto ipakita sa buong mundo kung  ano yung pwede naming magawa. So sana maging proud kayo sa ilalabas namin," Pablo added.

"At saka Filipino all the way from head-to-toe," Justin said.

"For the craft, for the sake of 'yung vision namin, 'yung brainstorming namin talagang nag-risk kami para dito sa 'DAM ' na push natin na parang Marvel, ganoon. Tingnan niyo naman. Hindi ba nakapaka-ambitious n'on?  Kasi noong nagbi-brainstorming tayo sinasabi natin parang imposible ito," Josh added.

Pablo also explained the message of its new single. 

"Ako lagi kong tanong sa sarili ko, kung paano ba natin hihigitan ang sagad na. Paano tayo mage-exceed sa mga naibigay natin from before? I feel like sa lahat ng tao threre will come a time sa point in life natin na mahi-hit natin 'yung plateau. Parang it's comfortable yet okay ka roon, sustainable siya. Pero 'yun ba 'yung gusto mo? Gusto mo kumportable ka at  sustainable ka? Siyempre maghahangad ka palagi ng something na makakapag-explore sa sarili mo at maibibigay mo para sa isang tao. So 'yun ang pinakatanong sarili na paano mo hihigitan ang sagad na? At saka bukod roon, 'yung pinaka-sentence na 'ano ang pakiramdam?' Parang paano mo naman mararamdaman ang bagay na na hindi mo sisimulan kung gusto mo lang ay kumportable, kung gusto mo ay okay lang kasi nagwo-work naman. 'Yung 'wag na nating palitan kasi nagwo-work naman. Pero in order to achieve greater heights kailangan mong harapin 'yung pahamak talaga," Pablo explained≥

SB19 will embark on "Simula At Wakas" world tour which will kickoff at the Philippine Arena on May 31.

Tickets for the kickoff concert will be available starting March 15 at 12 noon through SM Tickets.

SB19 composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, has also announced the cities that are included in their "Simula At Wakas" world tour happening from May to October.
