MANILA -- Filipino indie-folk collective Munimuni is gearing up for nationwide tour, which will begin in March.

Dubbed as "Munimuni: ALEGORYA Philippine Tour," the upcoming shows will feature songs from the group's 2024 album, "Alegorya."

"We try to get tour locations where we can reach both our current listeners and new ones. ... In locations that are further away, although we can't possibly reach every city, we had it in mind to choose venues that are accessible to as much of our listeners as possible. Another factor would be the existence of local productions, as we wanted to collaborate with and support local scenes,” the five-piece act said via a press release.

“We are embarking on this tour in order to promote our latest album, 'Alegorya.' We'll be singing a lot of songs from the album, but also some older songs. We plan our setlists in a way that makes sense depending on what main message we feel like we need to communicate for the particular event and audience,” the group added.

April 6, 2025: Lucena (Whitebox Collective)

April 12, 2025: Cebu (From Here)

Munimuni will also have guest acts representing each city.

Last year, Munimuni celebrated its second full-length album "Alegorya" with a major concert held at the UP Theater.

It was the band’s third major concert, following 2018’s self-titled concert at the Music Museum and 2019’s "Kulayan Natin" at Cine Adarna, UP Film Center.
