On its YouTube channel, Hybe Labels, the company that manages the 13-piece act, announced late Tuesday that members Hoshi and Woozi would debut as a unit with the single album "Beam."

The album will drop on March 10, based on the concept teaser video uploaded on Hybe's YouTube channel.

Hoshi and Woozi are the latest SEVENTEEN members to form a sub-unit, following BSS—composed of Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi—which debuted in 2018, and Jeonghan and Wonwoo's JxW, introduced in 2024.

SEVENTEEN—which debuted in 2015—ranked as the third biggest-selling recording artist in 2024, behind Taylor Swift and Drake, who placed first and second, respectively, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
