Felix of the K-pop boy band Stray Kids. Photo from Stray Kids' X account(UPDATE) Felix, a member of the popular K-pop boy group Stray Kids, sustained a pinched nerve following a car accident, his agency said Sunday, clarifying an earlier statement about the idol's injury.

Through a post on Stray Kids' X account, JYP Entertainment initially said Felix suffered from a fracture after his vehicle collided with a shuttle bus in Incheon, South Korea on Saturday.

But in a new post, the company said the 24-year-old artist underwent an additional medical examination, which determined that "the fracture line seen on the initial X-ray was a childhood injury."

"At the moment there's a pinched nerve near that area (fracture line)," JYP said.

"Therefore, we will be keeping an eye on our artist's recovery progress and will go through necessary treatment based on the medical team's findings," the label said.

JYP Entertainment apologized to fans "who must be startled by this sudden news."

The accident took place while Felix, whose full name is Felix Yongbok Lee, was returning home from his group's "SKZ 5'CLOCK" fan meeting at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, based on JYP's earlier statement.

JYP had described the accident as "minor" but the "momentary shift in Felix's weight onto his arm caused him to collide with the armrest inside the vehicle."

Due to the injury, Felix will sit out the fan meeting's third day on Sunday.

Felix debuted in 2018 as a member of Stray Kids,  standing out with his deep vocal timbre.

Over the years, the group—known for their boisterous, high-energy singles—has amassed a large international following and topped the Billboard 200 album chart six times.
