American band Jonas Brothers took to social media to express their gratitude to fans as they marked their 20th anniversary. 

Consisting of Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, the trio reflected on their journey as artists and the impact their fans have had along the way.

“It's been 20 years since we started this journey together. To us, it feels like just yesterday we were loading up our family mini van with a couple of guitars and copies of It's About Time CDs, en route to an afternoon performance at a local mall to play for anyone who would listen,” they reminisced.

They recalled their early days as teenagers chasing their dream, saying, “We were chasing our dream to play music and connect with others in a deep way that only music can provide.”

Celebrating the milestones they’ve been through, Jonas Brothers dedicated their 20 years to their fans.

“In the years that followed, you've given us a thousand lifetimes of incredible memories. We wake up each day filled with gratitude that you've been on this 20-year journey with us. Together, we have celebrated wins, made mistakes, overcome obstacles, and grieved losses. Put simply: we've all grown up together,” they shared.

Expressing their deep appreciation, they added, “It's seemingly impossible to put our appreciation into words. None of this would have been possible without you. You've shown up for us. Rooted for us. Encouraged us. And inspired us.”

Nick, Joe, and Kevin also recalled how they connected with their fans, saying, “We've made memories with you at shows, bumped into you on the street, run into you at airports, and read your amazing stories on socials. We treasure our connection with you as much today as we did when we played our first show.”

The band assured fans that their journey is far from over.

“We are celebrating this wild 20-year journey by doing what we love, and we can't wait to share it with you.”

As they look ahead, the Jonas Brothers teased an eventful 2025.

“2025 will be a year of music,” they said. “New Jonas Brothers music. Solo music. A live concert album. And a soundtrack. Nick returns to Broadway this spring for The Last Five Years.”

They also shared their excitement about an upcoming holiday movie that will be released soon.

“And we are nearly wrapped on our holiday movie that we can't wait for you to see this fall,” they announced.

Concluding their message, the band wrote, “Expect a lot more announcements over the coming days and weeks. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you! Here's to the next 20 years, and here's to doing it together. The best is yet to come.”

While the letter was a heartfelt tribute, some fans initially feared it was another breakup announcement.

“STOP I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE ANOTHER BREAKUP,” a fan commented.

Another one expressed, “I LITERALLY HAVE PTSD CAUSE I THOUGHT THIS WAS A BREAKUP LETTER 😭😭😮‍💨.”

Alongside the message, the brothers posted a video celebrating their journey.

“20 years ago, the world looked a lot different — our cars, our clothes, our communication and even our hair. The past 20 years have been one wild ride. We’ve had highs and lows and all the moments in between,” they said. 

“We’ve loved, we’ve danced, we’ve chased dreams, faced heartbreaks and celebrated wins. We’ve grown up together, the world changed and so did we. Along the way, we’ve learned the most important lesson of all: to cherish every moment,” they continued.

They reflected on the power of music, stating, “That is the power of music. It unites us. It heals us. It inspires us and it motivates us. Music brings back memories and creates new ones. It’s generational. It reminds us where we came from and where we’re going. So here’s to 20 years of life, to road trips, to friendships, to love, the moments that have changed us and the ones we’ll never forget.”
