“Yes, we’re friends! Super friends! Super twins! Haha! Hindi, super close kami ni Maloi. I’m just so glad I get to be there when she needs a friend, when she needs support — at ganon din siya sa akin. That’s the relationship we have, it’s like a rainbow,” Maki shared.

With fans showing excitement over their chemistry, some have even started shipping them as a potential love team calling them “MakiLoi”. However, Maki made it clear that their relationship is purely platonic.

“Hindi naman kami love team. We are just so glad nakikita niyo 'yung chemistry, 'yung support, and love for each other. And I think that’s enough. Your imagination is the limit, bahala kayo! But I’m just so glad that I get to be there for my friend,” he said.

Maki is also set to perform as a special guest at the BINIverse World Tour 2025 Philippine leg, happening on February 15 at the Philippine Arena.

“Ako personally, I’ve waited so long for BINI to have this moment, and isa talaga sa pinaka-malaking arena sa buong mundo! It took a while for people to realize na sobrang talented talaga sila ever since. Napapanood ko sila sa training days, and I’ve been a fan — I’ve been a Bloom for a very long time. I’m so glad and so thrilled that I get to perform naman, ‘di ba?” he said.

The tour will kick off in the Philippines before heading to Singapore, the U.S., Dubai, and London.
