K-pop star Yeji of ITZY to debut as soloist with 'Air'

On its YouTube channel, ITZY's label JYP Entertainment dropped late Sunday the official trailer for Yeji's debut with the album titled "Air," set for release on March 10.

The trailer showcases Yeji in a futuristic setting, interspersed with scenes of her tending to what appear to be experimental plants, all set against an ominous soundtrack.

The clip ends with the 24-year-old idol sporting a bob cut, staring intensely into the camera.

The album's tracklist will be revealed late Thursday in Manila (Friday midnight in South Korea), according to the "promotion scheduler" posted on ITZY's X account.

The singer born Hwang Ye-ji debuted in 2019 as the leader of ITZY, known for hit songs such as "Dalla Dalla," "Wannabe" and "Loco."

The group, also consisting of Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna, welcomed 2025 in the Philippines, performing at a New Year countdown concert in Taguig.
