MANILA -- Filipino alt-rock band Imago has released its latest single "Gulong-gulo," which is the band's first project under Sony Music Entertainment.

The track is now available for streaming on all digital music platforms worldwide.

In a press release, Imago said that track "explores the emotional tug-of-war in choosing to fight for a relationship rather than letting it fade instantly."

"It's more of a reflection of how a relationship can be. There will always be highs and lows, and it's about knowing that your relationship is bigger than the occasional fights, so you fix it," the band shared.

"Gulong-gulo" was produced by Raymund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala with an arrangement by the latter and with drumming contributions from Badjao de Castro of IV of Spades.

Imago is composed of Myrene "Maps" Academia (bass), Tim Cacho (guitar),  Mervin Panganiban (drums) and Kharren "Kurei" Granada (vocalist).

The band is behind the OPM hits "Akap," "Anino," "Taralets" and "Sundo."

Prior to "Gulong-gulo," Imago released a single with Ebe Dancel titled "Magbabalik," which is a song about losing things.
