Los Angeles concert of Sarah G, Bamboo rescheduled amid wildfires

The concert of OPM superstars Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo in Los Angeles has been postponed amid the devastation caused by wildfires in the area. 

"Sarah Geronimo x Bamboo" was originally scheduled for Friday, January 24, at the SABAN Theatre in Beverly Hills.

In a statement posted on Bamboo's Facebook page, organizers said the show will still be held at the same venue, with the new date to be announced soon. 

"In deference to and show sympathy to those impacted by this tragic event and to allow the general Los Angeles citizenry some time to recuperate, we feel it best for all to reschedule," the statement read. 

"The safety and well-being of our attendees, staff, and community remain our top priority, and considering the current circumstances, we believe postponing the event is the most responsible course of action," it added.

Organizers also assured that previously issued tickets will still be honored on the new date. 

"Sarah and Bamboo extend their love and concern for the people of Southern California and most especially to their fans," the statement read, adding that the Honolulu leg of the concert will push through.
