MANILA -- Actress-recording artist Maris Racal has turned her "pain, regret and courage to seek forgiveness" into music.

Racal made the announcement following her controversy involving her onscreen partner Anthony Jennings as she released her newest single titled "Perpektong Tao," a song about someone  who made a mistake.

The actress opened her song with how her secrets were revealed while she was unable to do anything to stop it.

Below are some of the lines from the song "Perpektong Tao."

In her Instagram account on Thursday, Racal, promoted to her fans and followers her newest song.

"Writing this song healed me in ways I never thought possible. It was born from a journey through pain, regret, and the courage to seek forgiveness, a reminder that even in our darkest moments, we can find light. I’m sharing this with the world, hoping it resonates with those who need it most," she told her 7.7 million Instagram followers.

As of writing, Racal was the top trending topic on X (formerly Twitter).

Racal and Jennings are two of the stars of the newest series "Incognito."

In December, the pair apologized publicly after screenshots of their intimate conversation were uploaded on social media by Jennings' ex-girlfriend Jamela Villanueva.
