K-pop girl group IVE unveiled Monday "Rebel Heart," a single off its upcoming extended play (EP) "IVE EMPATHY."

"Rebel Heart" is a song that expresses the solidarity among rebels with different narratives, the Korea Times reported, citing a statement from the group's label Starship Entertainment.

The group first teased the song during their performance at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon in late December.

"Rebel Heart" is part of IVE's third EP "IVE EMPATHY," which is scheduled to drop on February 3, marking the group's first comeback in over nine months since the release of "IVE SWITCH" in April 2024.

After debuting in December 2021, IVE — composed of An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo — has topped South Korea's domestic charts with hits such as "Love Dive," "After Like," "Kitsch," "I Am" and "Baddie."

The group embodies a "chaebol crush" concept, exuding a chic and sophisticated image while delivering catchy songs that celebrate empowerment and self-love.

IVE last visited Manila in July 2024 for their "Show What I Have" tour.
