BIGBANG's Taeyang bringing 'The Light Year' to Manila in February 2025

Taeyang. Photo from Taeyang's Instagram accountK-pop star Taeyang, best known as a member of the hitmaking boy band BIGBANG, is heading to Manila in February for his "The Light Year" tour, the show's local producer announced Monday.

The 36-year-old artist will mount the concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 22, 2025, promoter Karpos said in a press release.

Tickets are priced as follows:

• SVIP Standing - P16,725

• VIP Standing - P14,000

• VIP Seated - P14,000

• Floor Standing - P11,150

• LB Premium - P10,050

• LB Regular - P9,500

• UB Premium - P7,850

• UB Regular - P6,700

• GA Preium - P5,050

• GA Regular - P4,000

Physical ticket sales will begin on December 28, followed by online sales on December 29, both through SM Tickets, Karpos said.

Taeyang kicked off his "The Light Year" tour with a two-day show in Seoul in late August, where his fellow BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Daesung made guest appearances.

In 2006, Taeyang debuted as a member of BIGBANG, one of K-pop's most successful boy bands known for hits such as "Fantastic Baby" and "Bang Bang Bang."

Outside of BIGBANG, Taeyang has also launched a solo career, with notable singles such as "Eyes, Nose, Lips" and "Ringa Linga."
