Pop star Miley Cyrus reacted to her nominations for her song "Beautiful That Way."

The song, which is on the soundtrack of Gia Coppola's movie The Last Showgirl, received nominations at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.

Starring Pamela Anderson, The Last Showgirl follows the story of a "seasoned showgirl [who] must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run," as per its IMDB.

"It’s an honor to be nominated for Best Original Song alongside my friends and collaborators Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li at the Golden Globes & Critics Choice Awards," she said in an Instagram post.

The singer went on: "Pamela is graciously sharing her moment with us. I am continuing to root for her, it’s so fun to watch her shine. Thank you Gia Coppola for inviting me to be a part of your gem The Last Showgirl."

Fans online were quick to congratulate Miley on this new milestone in her career.

"Congrats! It was a long journey and now we are seeing all your efforts getting recognized 🏆," one fan commented.

"I’m so proud of you getting the recognition you always deserved," another fan said.

"CONGRATULATIONS MILEY!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU ❤️ 👏 THIS SONG IS SO SO BEAUTIFUL AND I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THE MOVIE AND CRY! 🙌 can't wait for you to win this award as you deserve!!!" another fan wrote.

Back in February, Miley won at the Grammy Awards for Record of the Year for her song "Flowers."

"Thank you all so much. This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn't change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday. Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular," she said in her acceptance speech.  

The singer also won the Best Pop Solo Performance for the track.

Meanwhile, in August 2024, Miley received the Disney Legend Award for her role as Hannah Montana.

"I want to say is that legends get scared, too. I’m scared right now, but the difference is we do it anyway, and all of you can do that every single day. It’s legendary to be afraid and do it anyway. There is no such thing as failure when you try," she remarked in her speech.
