Ed Sheeran revealed that his next album is now done.

According to a report by Variety, the singer shared that he already filmed two music videos for the new album. He will also be filming two more music videos for the record's tracks next year.

On what fans can look forward to in this new album, Ed relayed: "It feels like I’m getting back into big pop for the first time in a long time. It’s quite exciting."

Meanwhile, he recently made a song for the Netflix animated film That Christmas titled "Under the Tree."

"It’s the one thing I’ve wanted to write. I’d never seen the need [to write] a sad Christmas song until writing this one…this is quite a lot of people’s realities at Christmas," he shared.

Ed filmed a music video for the song with "That Christmas" director Richard Curtis.

"I’ve felt that having him put his stamp on me doing a Christmas song would be kind of special to me," he said.

Ed shared that it was a fun shoot. "We filmed it 10 minutes away from my house, and my mate’s mum is an extra in it," he shared.

In 2023, Ed released two albums, Subtract in May and Autumn Variations in September.

Ed is set to continue the next legs of his The Mathematics Tour in 2025. It kicked off in April 2022 in Dublin and will conclude in September 2025.

The singer staged the concert in Manila back in March.

"Manila, this has been really special. I do not take this for granted," he said during the concert in the country.

Back in September, Ed also achieved a new milestone in his career when the first song he wrote, "The A Team," hit a billion streams on Spotify, his 12th song to do so.

"My very first single 'The A Team' just hit a billion streams. I wrote this song at 18 in 2009, I couldn’t fathom a million people hearing the song back then, let alone a billion. Thank you to everyone who’s streamed that song, and all my other billion streamers. I took @spotify round Suffolk a few weeks back to talk about them," he posted back in September.
