<p>Veteran actress Jackie Lou Blanco has long been celebrated for her extensive body of work, including the iconic Star Cinema classic <em>Magic Temple</em> in 1996. </p><p>During an exclusive interview with<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz"> <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong></a>, she reminisced about her experience working on the fantasy-adventure film.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1773713245713EXCLUSIVE_ Jackie Lou Blanco open to reprising role if &#x27;Magic Temple&#x27; is remade_ ‘Yes, by all means’.png" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>“I think yung naka-mask (ako) and I guess just working with the kids and with such beautiful material na ginawa ni Peque (Gallaga), na kahit hanggang ngayon, di ba, you still remember that. That movie made so much of an impact,” she recalled.</p><p>Jackie Lou added that the late director was truly visionary for his age.</p><p>“Peque was really way beyond his years, no? Na wow, hanggang ngayon, it&#x27;s still relevant and it&#x27;s still remembered and very well loved,” she expressed.</p><p>The actress also mentioned that, if given the chance, she is willing to reprise her role or at least be part of the project if the movie is ever remade. “Oh my gosh, of course, yes, by all means.”</p><div><iframe width="702" height="395" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/x50xA9UJ--I" title="‘Magic Temple’ FULL MOVIE (Digitally Restored) | Jason Salcedo, Junell Hernando, Marc Solis" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>In the classic film, Jackie Lou played the villainess Ravenal, who opposed the young heroes Jubal, Sambag, and Omar, portrayed by Jason Salcedo, Junell Hernando, and Marc Solis, respectively. The movie was digitally restored by ABS-CBN Film Restoration in 2018.</p><p>Meanwhile, Jackie Lou also shared which actors she dreams of working with at this point in her career.</p><p>“I want to work again with Miss Hilda Coronel. I worked with her before, pero sana, I can work with her again. Maybe Vilma Santos, ‘di ba? I don&#x27;t think I&#x27;ve ever worked with her, but yeah, it would be wonderful if I could do that. Or Jodi Sta. So for now, yun pa lang. And I hope, of course, a lot of your followers who watch <em>Anthropology</em> sana,” she expressed.</p>
