<p>Disney fans may be one step closer to learning who will portray the film&#x27;s iconic villain, Mother Gothel, in the live-action adaptation of<em> Tangled. </em></p><p>Following the confirmation of Teagan Croft playing Rapunzel and Milo Manheim portraying Flynn Rider in the movie, attention has shifted to the casting of the antagonist. According to a report by Variety, Kathryn Hahn is currently in talks with Disney to potentially take on the role.</p><p>Mother Gothel is depicted as a vain and manipulative woman who hoards the magical healing powers of a golden flower to remain eternally young and beautiful. The film was also nominated for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Song at the 68th Golden Globe Awards.</p><p><em>Tangled </em>joins the series of live-action adaptations at Disney following <em>Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid</em>, and <em>Aladdin</em>, among others.</p>
