Tickets are available through the <a href="https://hiff.org/events/quezon/">festival website</a>.Directed by Jerrold Tarog, &quot;Quezon&quot; is the third installment in TBA’s “Bayaniverse” trilogy, following &quot;Heneral Luna&quot; (2015) and &quot;Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral&quot; (2018). The film chronicles Manuel L. Quezon’s pursuit of Philippine independence during the Commonwealth era, navigating rivalries with Leonard Wood, Sergio Osmeña, and Emilio Aguinaldo during the 1935 presidential elections.Jericho Rosales stars as Quezon in his return to the big screen, alongside Mon Confiado as Aguinaldo, Benjamin Alves as the younger Quezon, and &quot;Game of Thrones&quot; actor Iain Glen as U.S. Governor-General Wood. The ensemble also includes Romnick Sarmenta, Karylle, JC Santos, Jake Macapagal, Angeli Bayani, Therese Malvar, Joross Gamboa, and Bodjie Pascua.“We are thrilled to share Quezon with audiences in Hawai’i and beyond at HIFF,” said Daphne Chiu, TBA Studios chief and producer. “We’re thankful to HIFF for its warm aloha to our film and hope audiences will be as excited to see it abroad as they have been in the Philippines.”&quot;Quezon&quot; opens in Philippine cinemas on October 15 before rolling out in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
