In Sunday's episode, Alexa impressed judges Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Angeline Quinto, and JK Labajo with her performance of "Nosi Balasi."

"Ang hinahanap namin dito sa 'Idol Kids' ay isang singer, ang nakita ko ngayon ay hindi lang singer kung hindi isang performer. Sa nakita ko ngayon, parang mayroon kang ipinapakita na ikaw ay maaring maging first 'Idol Kids' Philippine champion," Valenciano said.
"Ang hinahanap namin dito sa 'Idol Kids' ay isang singer, ang nakita ko ngayon ay hindi lang singer kung hindi isang performer. Sa nakita ko ngayon, parang mayroon kang ipinapakita na ikaw ay maaring maging first 'Idol Kids' Philippine champion," Valenciano said.

Aside from Alexa, child hopeful Natalie, 6, from Das Marinas Cavite, who dreams of becoming a teacher and actress, got four yesses from the judges with her performance of "Babalik Sa 'Yo."

Twelve-year-old Prince, who performed "Ikaw Lang," is also moving to the next round after receiving three yesses.

Child hopeful Kiefer, 7, from Pangasinan, got his wish to help his father to have a prosthetic eye, as the four judges decided that they will shoulder the expenses for it. Kiefer touched the hearts of the judges with his performance of "May Bukas Pa" but failed to get enough votes to move on to the next round.

Last Saturday, June 28, "Idol Kids Philippines" kicked off with an impressive performance from Liam, 7, who hails from Sta. Cruz, Laguna. A mayor in their classroom, Liam performed his idol Labajo's massive hit "Buwan." After his performance he even got the chance to do a duet with Labajo. Liam's performance was loved by judges who gave him four yesses.

"Your peformance wasn't perfect pero malapit na doon pero it was still very excellent. Ang excellence ay nakakamit o nagagawa kung ang ginagawa mo ay nanggagaling sa kaluluwa. 'Yung performance mo ay hindi performance, ang ginawa mo ay ikaw mismo 'yon. Hindi ka nagpa-impress, pero grabe ang impact mo, at least sa akin," Valenciano said.
