MANILA -- Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino and the rest of the cast and crew of the romantic comedy movie "My Love Will Make You Disappear" reunited on Wednesday to celebrate the global box-office success of their movie.

As of May 7, the KimPau movie has earned P173 million in worldwide gross.

“We’re very thankful, very happy and parang nakakatuwa na maramdaman 'yung suporta ng mga tao,” said Chiu.

Avelino expressed her appreciation to all their fans who collaborated and made their first movie team-up a big success, “Very grateful to anyone who supported the movie, organized block screenings not just here in the Philippines but also abroad, so thank you so much.”

Another movie? The two said they’re game. There are offers to do other projects but Averlino is still looking into it.

Together with the victory and thanksgiving dinner, Star Cinema also celebrated the actor’s upcoming birthday on May 13 and ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes’ birthday on May 15.

“Wish ko talaga sana umunlad na ekonomiya ng Pilipinas,” said Avelino when asked for his birthday wish.

For his on-screen partner Chiu, she wishes her leading man “siyempre good health, kasi mahaba pa 'yung tatakbuhin ng buhay niya and happiness.”

Known to be a great gift giver, we asked Chiu if she has thought of any gift for Avelino? “Ang hirap kasi nito bigyan ng regalo!” she said.

But Avelino rebutted: “Ayokong nireregaluhan ako kasi, ano eh, very specific 'yung mga gusto ko sa buhay. 'Yung mga kailangan ko lang 'yung gusto ko. Ayoko ng mga luho.”

‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ is still showing in cinemas and will premiere in Taiwan on May 9 and soon in Vietnam.
