Kim Seon-ho, Suzy reunite in Disney+ vampire romance K-drama

K-drama stars Kim Seon-ho and Bae Suzy are set to reunite for a romance series that will stream exclusively on Disney+, the platform said Friday.

In a press release, Disney+ announced that production for the series with the working title "Delusion" has begun.

Based on a hit webtoon, the series follows the love story between a vampire and a painter.

In the series, Suzy, known for starring in dramas such as "While You Were Sleeping" and "Anna," portrays Song Jeong-hwa, a vampire mourning the loss of a long-ago love.

Meanwhile, Seon-ho, beloved by K-drama fans for his performances in "Start-Up" and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," takes on the role of I-ho, a painter who awakens something within Jeong-hwa.

The show marks a reunion for Suzy and Seon-ho, who previously shared the screen in the 2020 romance series "Start-Up."

The project, which has yet to reveal its exact premiere date, will be directed by Han Jae-rim, whose past works include the disaster film "Emergency Declaration" and the black comedy series "The 8 Show."
