South Korean heartthrob Jung Hae-in is set to star alongside actress Ha Young, who recently drew attention for her role in the medical comedy series "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," in Netflix's upcoming romantic comedy "Lovestuck."

On Wednesday, the streaming giant confirmed the production of the series, which follows a woman who loses her memories and a man claiming to be her lover as they end up living together in a quaint village.

Ha Young plays Go Eun-sae, a brilliant prosecutor who wakes up one day with amnesia. She then meets Jang Tae-ha, portrayed by Hae-in, a mysterious man who insists he is her boyfriend.

"Their unexpected living arrangement in a countryside village filled with traditional taffy shops kicks off a quirky, sweet, and irresistibly sticky love story," Netflix said in a press release.

The project marks the reunion of director Kim Jang-han and writer Mo Ji-hye, who previously collaborated on the 2021 series "You Raise Me Up." Director Kim is also known for helming the dramas "Do You Like Brahms?" and "My Demon."

Ha Young gained recognition for her role in "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," portraying a nurse who assists a team of university hospital doctors specializing in trauma care.

Meanwhile, Hae-in is known for hit dramas such as "While You Were Sleeping," "Something in the Rain," "One Spring Night," "D.P.," "Snowdrop," and, more recently, "Love Next Door."
